Requirements
- Experience working with school-aged youth and teens preferred.
- Enthusiasm for youth development, recreational activities, and creating a positive environment.
- Willingness to attend meetings, training, and obtain additional certifications as requested.
Responsibilities
- Supervise designated youth areas to ensure participants remain in approved program spaces and follow YMCA policies and expectations.
- Conduct regular walkthroughs of assigned program areas to monitor participant safety, behavior, and facility conditions.
- Build positive relationships with youth by actively participating in games, arts and crafts, group activities, and other recreational opportunities.
- Encourage participation by welcoming youth into activities and helping create an inclusive environment where everyone feels valued.
