About The Position

18 Degrees is seeking a Youth Outreach Case Worker to join their Community Connection (PCC) program. This role focuses on supporting the welfare of youth (ages 10-24) by identifying their goals, strengths, and tracking progress. The Case Worker will coordinate needed services, provide warm referrals, individualized support, and advocacy, and facilitate groups. The goal is to help at-risk youth avoid negative impacts and succeed in their futures. This position involves working in both Pittsfield and North Adams offices.

Requirements

• Ability to build trusting relationships while maintaining appropriate boundaries.
• Knowledge and understanding of systemic, socio-economic, educational, and other challenges.
• Informed trauma care and knowledge of gang culture.
• Ability to meet individuals where they are.
• Some Evening and Weekend work required.
• Strong computer and internet skills, including Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities
