This role involves leading and overseeing the overall Young Life Military program, known as Club Beyond, which is ecumenically focused and outreach oriented. The position aims to provide a safe space for military teens to develop friendships, experience laughter, build hope, and generate resiliency by creating a community where they experience the truth of God's love and purpose. The ministry is incarnational, meaning staff live alongside the community they serve. This role requires active engagement with the military community, understanding its culture, and working within an environment that experiences high turnover among teens, families, chaplains, and volunteers due to the military's operational tempo. A key aspect of the role is to live out the Club Beyond Core Value Statement, which emphasizes a Christ-centered community with an exclusively military focus, using incarnational methods and an ecumenical perspective, leveraging strategic partnerships, and valuing professionalism and stewardship.
