About The Position
Love biking, being outdoors, and working with kids? Join our summer camp team as a Youth Mentor! You'll help campers build skills, make friends, and have fun while exploring the mountain in a safe and supportive environment. You will be outdoors in all kinds of summer weather.
Requirements
- Experience working with kids through babysitting, coaching, volunteering, or similar activities.
- Comfortable riding Green trails at Mount Washington Bike Park.
- Positive attitude, strong communication skills, and a love for the outdoors.
- Responsible, safety-minded, and ready to be part of a team.
- Must be 13 years of age or older.
Nice To Haves
- A dual suspension, with disc brakes, mountain bike suitable for Mount Washington Bike Park.
- Appropriate riding gear and safety equipment.
Responsibilities
- Help campers during biking, hiking, games, crafts , and outdoor adventures.
- Support camp activities and encourage teamwork and confidence.
- Be a positive role model and help create a fun, inclusive camp culture.
- Assist with gear setup, bike checks, and daily camp tasks.
- Help keep campers safe and communicate any concerns to camp leaders.
