Join the Allen County Public Library as a Full-Time Youth Librarian at our Little Turtle Branch - a welcoming neighborhood library known for its strong community connections and friendly, team-oriented atmosphere. Requirements
- Bachelor's degree + 2 years of library experience (or equivalent)
- Indiana Public Librarian Certification (or ability to obtain)
- Experience or passion for working with children and teens
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- A commitment to serving diverse communities
Responsibilities
- Create and lead engaging programs for children and teens
- Build relationships through outreach to schools, daycares, and community partners
- Help young patrons and families find books, resources, and technology
- Support daily library services, including circulation and account assistance
- Contribute to displays, collections, and a welcoming, inclusive space
