About The Position

The Youth Hockey Instructor reports to the Recreation Supervisor and conducts all on-ice instruction related to The Learn to Play Hockey Program. Duties also include assisting the Recreation Leader with taking attendance; organizing classes running on ice programming according to the outlined curriculum; evaluating participants; and assisting the participants to develop fundamental skating and hockey skills.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Must have or be willing to obtain First Aid, CPR and concussion protocol training and certification.
• All applicants are subject to a background check.

Nice To Haves

• Previous Hockey experience preferred including coaching and instruction.
• USA Hockey Coaching and Safe Sport Training Preferred.
