About The Position
Countryside YMCA is looking for an energetic Gymnastics Instructor to lead classes and help kids discover what their bodies (and their courage) can do. This role involves teaching gymnastics or ninja-style skills in a fun, safe, and encouraging environment, keeping a close eye on every participant for safety, and building kids up with positivity, patience, and creativity. The instructor will also communicate with parents, keep attendance records, and help maintain the cleanliness of the gym.
Requirements
- At least 16 years old
- High school diploma or currently enrolled
- Comfortable demonstrating basic gymnastics/ninja movements
- Strong communication skills
- A knack for keeping kids engaged safely
- Employees 18+ must pass a criminal background check
Nice To Haves
- Gymnastics or coaching experience is a plus
