About The Position

The Diocese of Houma-Thibodaux is seeking a passionate and faith-filled Youth Formation Specialist to lead and implement a comprehensive parish youth formation program. This role plays a vital part in fostering Christian living, ministry, and outreach by guiding young people in their faith journey from early childhood through high school. Requirements

Responsibilities

• Lead the implementation of a comprehensive Youth Formation process for grades 1–12
• Provide catechesis and evangelization opportunities for youth across all grade levels
• Accompany, mentor, and develop volunteer leaders involved in youth ministry
• Collaborate closely with pastoral staff, mentors, and parish volunteers
• Evaluate and continuously improve youth formation programming
• Build engagement and foster a culture of participation among youth and families
