Requirements
- High School degree required.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications preferred.
- Valid NC Driver's License
Nice To Haves
- Two years’ experience in the human service field, working with young adults is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Assisting in the daily operation of the On Ramp Resource Center which serves as a drop-in center for young adults 16-24 years of age.
- Serving on a team as the main point of contact for program participants and community members.
- Connecting with and being a support to youth/young adults who come to On Ramp seeking assistance with housing, education, employment, health and safety and community navigation.
- Assisting with intake assessments.
- Providing support and mentoring young adults in achieving their goals.
- Managing daily workshops.
- Opening & monitoring participant use of the basic needs areas - the kitchen during meal times, the shower facility, and the laundry room.
