About The Position

Logan Heights Community Development Corporation (LHCDC) is seeking an experienced and compassionate Youth Empowerment & Diversion (YED) Program Manager to lead our youth prevention, diversion, and intervention programs. This position reports directly to the Chief Operations Officer and provides leadership and supervision to the YED team across our Community Assessment Team (CAT), Juvenile Diversion (JD), and Alternative to Detention (ATD) services. The YED Program Manager is responsible for the day-to-day leadership, clinical and operational oversight, staff supervision, quality assurance, and contract compliance of the program. This individual will help ensure that youth and families receive timely, trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and family-centered services while supporting staff in delivering high-quality case management and achieving positive outcomes.

Requirements

  • Current California LCSW, LMFT, or LPCC license, or a qualifying master's degree with current California Board of Behavioral Sciences registration and documented progress toward licensure
  • Experience providing behavioral health services to at-risk youth and families
  • At least two years of progressively responsible supervisory or program-management experience
  • Strong leadership and team player skills
  • Understanding of trauma-informed care, positive youth development, restorative justice, crisis intervention, family-centered practice, and community-based services
  • Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and staff coaching skills

Responsibilities

  • Leading and coaching a multidisciplinary team
  • Overseeing youth referrals, assessments, service plans, case management, groups, and program completion
  • Monitoring program outcomes and contract requirements
  • Conducting case reviews and quality assurance
  • Coordinating with schools, Probation, law enforcement, behavioral health providers, families, and community partners
  • Overseeing program data and reporting
  • Supporting continuous program improvement
