About The Position
The Youth Development Professional & Driver will promote and stimulate program participation, provide guidance and role modeling to members, and implement and administer programs, services, and activities for Center members in an effective manner. This is a part-time position with benefits, requiring 20 or more hours per week.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or G.E.D.
- Previous work in a related field with Children and Youth preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License
- Must be over the age of 21 to drive a center vehicle to transport youth to/from the Red Shield Youth Center and for field trips.
- Ability to interact with children and teens with patience and respect.
- Ability to clearly communicate roles and responsibilities to individuals and groups.
- Ability to work with people of diverse backgrounds and circumstances.
