About The Position

NET/NCC is seeking a Youth Development Outcomes Specialist who will support as a mentor and life skills coach while working with youth ages 13 to 21. This role involves facilitating youth advisory council activities, mentoring young people through group workshops and individual sessions, and conducting research to collect data and develop programming. The specialist will also support trauma/EBP circles, interventions, and post-crisis reviews with youth participating in select NET/NCC programs. Activities will take place virtually, on-site, and in the community.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Child Welfare, Social Services, Juvenile Justice
• At least 1 year of experience working with adolescents
• Strong knowledge related to child welfare, social services, and case-management as it relates to servicing delinquent/dependent children and youth
• Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
• Excellent time management and organizational skills
• Proficient oral and written communication skills to effectively problem-solve
• Must be a team player, patient, flexible, and can multi-task
• Must have valid driver’s license

Nice To Haves

• Knowledge of Child Development and Crisis Intervention is preferred
