PTL Youth Development Leader (Douglas)
About The Position
Zach Gordon Youth Services is looking for a Youth Development Leader to work directly with Juneau youth, providing on-site programming at either Geneva Woods or Cedar Park. The ideal candidate is dedicated to Juneau’s youth and families, interested in creative, fun, and place-based program development, and excited to support and connect with families. This role involves hosting monthly family nights and communicating with families about upcoming activities and events. The position requires a self-starter who is organized and possesses a sense of humor, valuing relationships and skilled in building and nurturing them.
Requirements
- Graduation from high school or the equivalent.
- Two (2) courses from an accredited college in a human-related field may substitute for experience.
- Any combination of work experience or post-secondary education totaling six (6) months in any field.
- First Aid and CPR certification within 30 days of appointment.
- A valid driver's license at time of appointment is preferred but not required.
- Must pass a criminal records report (Non-FBI) check.
