About The Position
A Youth Development Coordinator designs, implements, and oversees programs that foster leadership, life skills, and social-emotional growth in young people. They manage activity logistics, engage community stakeholders, mentor participants, and evaluate program effectiveness to ensure a safe, inclusive, and supportive environment for youth, often focusing on areas like education, recreation, or specialized community support.
Requirements
- Experience in developing a curriculum for that will enhance the knowledge and understanding of the youth.
- 1-3 years of experience in youth programming, recreation, or community development.
- Strong interpersonal skills to effectively engage diverse youth populations and stakeholders.
- Proven ability to manage multiple projects, logistics, and administrative tasks simultaneously.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute educational, recreational, and leadership-based workshops for the summer camp.
