•$50,620 - $53,120•Onsite

About The Position

The Youth Day Treatment Therapist evaluates and treats children and families in a structured behavioral health program serving youth in kindergarten through fifth grade. The program offers a step-down from, alternative to, or transitional service following inpatient or partial hospitalization, helping youth return to the community and preventing or minimizing the need for more intensive or restrictive treatment. Services are more intensive than outpatient care and take place in a structured daytime setting. The therapist facilitates therapeutic activities based on each child's treatment plan and participates as a member of the child's Treatment Team. The role involves coordinating care with case managers, a psychiatrist, school staff, and parents or guardians. Staff supervise students during program hours on school premises and follow applicable school schedules and school-specific emergency, safety, and operational protocols.
