About The Position

Euro School of Tennis is seeking an enthusiastic after-school dance teacher to lead engaging classes for elementary school students across various Bay Area schools. The instructor helps children ages 5–10 build confidence, coordination, and creativity through age-appropriate dance activities and routines in a fun, supportive environment. Classes typically run 1–1.5 hours and may begin between 1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday. Two or more days per week are preferred; the posting lists approximately 2–5 hours of work weekly. The position is part-time and in person.

Requirements

• Be at least 19 years old.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Enjoy working with children and be able to manage a class.
• Be reliable, punctual, flexible, professional, and enthusiastic.
• Have strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
• Have reliable transportation across assigned Bay Area locations.
• Be able to complete required employment screening and documentation.
• Be fully vaccinated against Covid-19.
• Be local to the US or already have a necessary working visa; the employer does not provide visa assistance.

Nice To Haves

• Dance teaching or performance experience is preferred but not required.
• Availability for two or more days per week is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage classes of approximately 8–10 students in grades K–5.
• Teach age-appropriate dance activities and routines in a fun, supportive environment.
• Attend up to two days of unpaid training or shadowing to learn the program.
• Prepare and set up required equipment.
• Take attendance and manage student sign-in and sign-out.
• Communicate with parents and school staff as needed and provide constructive feedback on student progress.
• Take session photos following program guidance.
