Brightpoint is seeking a mission-driven Youth Crisis Worker to join their Youth Services team. This role provides after-hours crisis intervention services to runaway and homeless youth and their families on an on-call basis. The ideal candidate will be skilled in building rapport, listening nonjudgmentally, facilitating communication during conflict, and partnering with youth and families to find solutions. The position requires responding in-person to police departments to offer crisis intervention, meeting with youth and parents to mediate and negotiate solutions, completing initial safety assessments, and potentially transporting youth to temporary placements. Mileage expenses for transportation will be reimbursed.
