About The Position

As a Youth Counselor with our Marion QRTP program, you'll work directly with boys ages 12–17, helping them develop the skills, confidence, accountability, and positive relationships they need to keep moving forward. The Marion QRTP provides 24-hour residential treatment and support for adolescent boys ages 12–17 in a structured and supportive environment. Our team works alongside each youth to help him develop healthier ways to manage emotions and behaviors, strengthen communication and problem-solving skills, build positive relationships, and work toward his individualized goals. This is more than supervision. It's mentorship, consistency, accountability, and showing young men that positive choices can create new possibilities.

Requirements

Must be at least 21 years of age.
Possess a High School Diploma or GED.
Basic computer skills in a MS Office environment.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor's Degree in a Human Services related field of study is preferred.
Desire to help kids succeed.
Prior experience working with children in a school or mental health setting preferred.
Strong communication and problem solving abilities.
