As the Youth Counselor, you will be responsible for providing direct care coverage by meeting program and client needs for MALE AGES 12-17 YEARS OLD. This includes ensuring safety and supervision, skill building, processing and support of clients, behavioral management, and communications within the team and supervisors. You will also provide supervision and treatment intervention, establish a therapeutic relationship with the client based on trust and respect, and evaluate the impact of behavioral, group treatment, and life-space interventions. Additionally, you will assure consistent, ongoing, and timely provision for basic client needs, safely transport youth to/from program activities and community resources, and effectively participate in team meetings to review case progress and provide the best programming. You will also follow medication management guidelines, maintain positive role modeling, and develop and maintain a working knowledge of Behavior Health Intervention Services (BHIS).
