About The Position
Adelphoi is hiring youth counselors for their group homes in Cogan Station, PA. The role focuses on implementing treatment plans that yield exceptional results for youth. Requirements
- Ability to safely perform physical interventions and restraints with individuals who may weigh 200+ pounds, using approved techniques.
- Ability to stand, walk, and respond quickly throughout the shift.
- Successfully complete and maintain certification in Adelphoi’s crisis intervention / restraint training and pass any required physical abilities assessment.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and mentor youth in a residential setting.
- Maintain safety and order using approved crisis-prevention and physical intervention techniques when necessary.
- Participate in de-escalation, restraint, and emergency response procedures as trained and required.
- Work collaboratively with other staff to provide consistent structure and support.
