About The Position
Children’s Home of Reading Youth & Family Services (CHOR YFS) is hiring compassionate Youth Care Workers for the PATHS Program in Breinigsville, PA. PATHS is a community-based, specialized group treatment home serving boys ages 10–15. Youth attend community schools within the Parkland School District and participate in structured recreational, academic, and social activities in a supportive and positive environment. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone passionate about youth development, behavioral health, case management, and helping young people build positive futures.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or 2 years of college in a social or human services-related field OR High school diploma/equivalent with 2+ years of documented experience working with youth
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to pass criminal history, including FBI, and child abuse clearances
- Valid driver’s license
Responsibilities
- Build supportive and trusting relationships with youth
- Provide supervision and maintain a safe environment
- Support youth during daily routines, recreation, academics, and community activities
- Work with clinical staff and case managers to support individualized behavioral goals
- Complete accurate documentation in electronic health records (EHR)
- Follow program policies and procedures with training provided
- Help create a structured, positive, and supportive environment for youth
