About The Position

Responsible for assisting and providing administrative support for pastors and/or departments. This multi-task, fast-paced position requires a working knowledge of all administrative and clerical procedures of Gateway Church. This role coordinates details related to ministry events, maintains calendars, schedules appointments, returns phone calls, and responds to emails. A basic understanding of project management and people-tracking software is required (training provided). Excellent time management and communication skills are essential. Requirements

Responsibilities

  • Assist with planning, preparation, and helping run Wednesday night services, including coordinating logistics, materials, and volunteers to help facilitate the night smoothly.
  • Maintain a record of actual monthly expenses.
  • Maintain and submit monthly expense reports.
  • Update and maintain calendars; and set up meetings.
  • Schedule and oversee details for leadership meetings, retreats, prayer meetings, and group leader meetings/trainings.
  • Send out weekly (or as needed) communication to leaders.
  • Enter attendance into church metrics.
  • Send the budget approved for décor to the event coordinator.
  • Send headcount for all staff meals to the food coordinator.
