About The Position
This is a temporary, fixed-term employment opportunity for individuals aged 18 to 25 looking for summer work. The role involves performing conservation, campus beautification, and bike park and trail improvement and maintenance projects during the mornings. Afternoons are dedicated to training in various subjects such as First Aid, CPR/AED, Belay and Lead Climbing, Water Safety and the Environment, and Career Planning. The position offers compensation for an 8-hour day.
Requirements
- Ability to read, write and perform basic mathematical calculations.
- Must be between the ages of 18-25
- Must be a resident of NM
Responsibilities
- Performs grounds maintenance and landscaping duties; weeding, mulching, digging, raking, pruning, cutting, planting, site preparation, and material removal and disposal.
- Assists with irrigation repair and maintenance.
- Assists with renovation projects.
- Maintains and cleans tools and equipment.
- Attend daily required trainings.
- Performs related duties.
