About The Position

MVP360 Sports is launching cheerleading camps and clinics for military children and families at military installations across the U.S. and potentially overseas. With over 13 years of experience, MVP360 Sports uses sports and performance activities for positive transformation, cultivating character, healthy lifestyles, and social-emotional growth. The "360" approach integrates education, wellness, and personal development to equip children with life skills. These cheerleading camps and clinics aim to help military youth improve cheer skills, build self-confidence, strengthen team bonds, and thrive in a supportive atmosphere. The role involves leading training sessions, providing mentorship, and creating transformative experiences for military children. Coaches will travel to military installations for multi-day camps or clinics, typically 4-5 days with 3 hours of sessions per day.

Requirements

Valid and up-to-date driver's license.
Pass all local, state, and federal background checks.
Clean driving and criminal record.
Ability to travel and be away from home for at least 6 days at a time.
Demonstrated experience coaching cheerleading (youth level preferred).
Genuine passion for working with children of diverse skill levels and backgrounds.
Flexibility and willingness to travel.
Readiness to complete necessary background checks (including military-specific clearances as required).
High energy, patience, and excellent communication skills.
Minimum of 2-4 years of experience in cheerleading, sports management, recreation, or program coordination.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Passion for sports and recreational activities with a community-oriented mindset.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience in cheer highly encouraged.
CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement cheerleading programs that engage, educate, and inspire participants.
Plan events and coordinate activities.
Foster an environment that promotes health, fitness, confidence, teamwork, and community engagement.
Lead training sessions in tumbling, stunting, jumps, dance, cheers, and routines.
Provide mentorship to participants.
Create unforgettable, transformative experiences for military children.
Travel to military installations for multi-day camps or clinics.
