About The Position

Rite of Passage Team is hiring for Youth Care Worker at Tampa Bay Girl's Academy in Tampa, Florida. Tampa Bay Girls Academy - Secure comprises multiple co-located residential commitment programs serving high-risk and max-risk female youth aged 12-21. These programs provide services utilizing evidence-based practices to provide comprehensive care, treatment, and supervision. Youth will also receive psychotherapeutic services, including individual, family, and group counseling. As a Youth Care Worker, you will provide daily support for the youth in our program at Tampa Bay Girls. Youth Care Workers provide interactive supervision, support, and direction for the youth. Youth Care Workers document the day of the youth, maintain structure, and provide support to youth experiencing behavioral issues. After 40 years of improving the lives of youth, we are looking for passionate advocates to continue the legacy of helping young people become successful adults. Requirements

• Possess a High School Diploma or GED
• Be able to pass a criminal background check, drug screen, and physical
• Be able to pass a search of the child abuse central registry

Responsibilities

• Provide daily support for the youth in our program at Tampa Bay Girls.
• Provide interactive supervision, support, and direction for the youth.
• Document the day of the youth.
• Maintain structure.
• Provide support to youth experiencing behavioral issues.
• Create a positive, safe, and supportive environment for the youth we serve.
