About The Position
Rite of Passage Team is hiring Youth Care Workers at Norris Academy in Andersonville, TN. Norris Academy is a residential treatment facility that offers comprehensive, holistic services to youth with autism spectrum disorders, and/or other neurodevelopmental diagnosis. As a Youth Care Worker, you will have the unique opportunity to create a positive, safe and supportive environment for the youth we serve while building a career rich in growth opportunities and self-fulfillment.
Requirements
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Have a High School diploma or equivalent
- Be able to pass a background screening, drug test, and physical
- Have at least 1 year experience working with autistic youth
- Have a passion to work with and help children
Responsibilities
- Assist residents with personal care tasks
- Support independent living skills and treatment goals
- Ensure residents safety at all times
- Enforce facility rules, policies, and routines
