About The Position

Rite of Passage Team is hiring for a Youth Care Worker at Daytona Juvenile Residential Facility in Daytona Beach, Florida. This role involves providing safety and around-the-clock supervision for the youth in the program, fostering a supportive atmosphere, and monitoring student behaviors and activities. The Youth Care Worker will also participate in and assist with various activities and collaborate with professional staff to meet student treatment goals. After 40 years of improving the lives of youth, Rite of Passage is looking for passionate advocates to help young people become successful adults. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• At least 21 years of age
• At least 1 year of equivalent experience
• Possess a current State Driver’s license
• Acceptable driving record for the past three years
• Able to pass a criminal background check

Responsibilities

• Provide safety and around-the-clock supervision for the youth in our program.
• Provide an atmosphere that is supportive of the needs of the students.
• Monitor and document student behaviors and activities.
• Participate and assist with educational, social, athletic, and recreational activities.
• Work in collaboration with other professional staff to establish and/or meet the goals of each student’s treatment.
