About The Position

The Goldsboro Transitional Program ("The Farm") is looking for strong, dependable staff to guide teen boys who are working to rebuild their lives. These young men need structure, mentorship, and a solid example — they need you. As a Youth Care Worker, you’ll be part of a tight-knit team providing daily support, discipline, and guidance to teens transitioning out of youth detention. You’ll teach life skills like cooking, budgeting, and responsibility — and even help them learn hands-on agricultural work. You’ll be a coach, a mentor, and a steady presence in their lives.

Requirements

  • Must be 21 years or older and ready to lead by example.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Valid driver's license and clean record.
  • Willingness to train and learn (First Aid, CPR, crisis response, etc.).
  • Integrity, reliability, and a real passion for helping others succeed.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with youth or related fields preferred.

Responsibilities
