About The Position

Work Where the Fun Happens! As a Youth Development Professional at the Boys & Girls Club of Truckee Meadows (BGCTM), you'll have the opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of children while enjoying a fun and fulfilling job. You'll work with kids on a variety of activities, including art projects, sports, fitness, field trips, and more - helping them to develop new skills, build confidence, and make new friends. Our Mission: To enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as caring, productive, responsible citizens. As a counselor, you'll be responsible for creating a safe and engaging environment for children, planning and leading activities, and serving as a positive role model and mentor. You'll also have the chance to take the kids on exciting field trips, exploring the community, and introducing them to new experiences. Requirements

  • Minimum of 17 years or older
  • Provide 3 references (professional if work experience exists, otherwise non-family member over 18)
  • Complete a drug screen
  • Complete a background check
  • Complete a fingerprint check
