About The Position

At Deerfield Park District, we provide outstanding parks, services, facilities and recreation programs that enrich lives, promote healthy living and inspire memorable experiences. We are looking for hard working, caring people that support our mission. Our Youth Basketball Coordinator travels to the District 109 schools checking on basketball practices. Checking in with the gym supervisors. Troubleshooting any issues that should arise.

Requirements

Must be 18 years old or older
Works well in a team environment
Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with those contacted during work at all levels, including a culturally diverse public with a focus on safety and quality customer service
Must pass a background check

Responsibilities

Travel to various District 109 schools according to the daily schedule.
Checking on basketball practices at the schools.
Checking on the gym supervisors.
Troubleshooting any problems that arise.
Provide a high quality of customer service in a professional manner to the internal customer that will facilitate team building and exceptional customer service to the external customer.
Follow the Deerfield Park District policies, procedures and guidelines.
Maintains good safety and awareness and follow all safety guidelines and procedures.
