About The Position

Play Hard Hoops is one of the premier youth basketball organizations serving both the Chicagoland suburbs and the city. With 40+ boys and girls travel teams each season, along with year-round skills training, leagues, and camps, we're committed to helping young athletes develop their skills, confidence, and love for the game. We're looking for energetic, dependable, and passionate coaches to join our growing staff. Whether you're an experienced travel coach or looking to begin your coaching journey as an assistant, we'd love to hear from you.

Requirements

• Energetic, dependable, and passionate coaches.
• Experience as a travel coach (for Head Travel Coach positions).
• Ability to work weekday evenings and weekends.
• Enjoy working with kids.

Responsibilities

• Plan and lead team practices.
• Coach games and tournaments.
• Develop players' individual skills and team concepts.
• Foster a competitive, positive, and supportive team culture.
• Communicate with families and program leadership.
• Support youth basketball programming, including weekly skills development classes, weekend leagues, holiday and seasonal camps, and beginner and intermediate player development programs.
