About The Position
Greenville's Recreation and Parks Department is currently looking for umpires for youth baseball games ages 5-8. Duties include but are not limited to umpiring, setting up for practices and games, and ensuring proper care of the program and facility.
Requirements
- Minimum Age: 16 years old, at the time of application
- Good knowledge of baseball rules
- Ability and patience to work with youth
- Mandatory staff trainings are required
- Applicants are required to submit a complete work history, a complete educational history (to include high school information), and at least 3 references.
- An incomplete application will not be considered.
Nice To Haves
- Umpiring experience is preferred
- Knowledge of First Aid and safety procedures is preferred
