About The Position
Beloit Health System is looking for a Youth Apprentice to join our Team! This Per Diem Youth Apprenticeship - Dietary Aide is a Per Diem at Beloit Health System located in Beloit, WI. The Youth Apprentice will be involved in day-to-day tasks to support healthcare professionals, gain hands-on experience, and contribute to the overall patient care experience.
Requirements
- Must be a current High School Student, 16 years of age or older
- Interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Interest in pursuing a career in healthcare
- Willingness to learn and adapt in a healthcare environment
Nice To Haves
- Basic understanding of medical terminology helpful
Responsibilities
- Practice infection control and safety
- Assist with planning menus and preparing food
- Verify adherence to dietary restrictions
- Deliver food trays
- Serve food
- Assist with kitchen inventory
- Other duties as assigned
