About The Position

This is a part-time, day shift position for a Youth Apprentice Medical Assistant at the All Saints Spring St. Campus in the Pulmonary department. The apprentice will perform work assignments related to clinical department projects and goals, operate within their scope of authority as defined by the manager, organize and prioritize work, and collaborate on clinical projects. The applicant must be enrolled in high school and be between the ages of 16-18 years old.

Requirements

• Applicant MUST be enrolled in high school
• Candidates between the ages of 16-18 years old must be actively enrolled in a High School Diploma Equivalency program.

Nice To Haves

• BLS Provider preferred. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

Responsibilities

• Perform work assignments linked to clinical department projects/goals.
• Perform functions within scope of authority as defined by the manager.
• Organize and prioritize work assignments, raising questions and issues in a timely manner.
• Participate and collaborate with others on clinical projects as requested.
