About The Position
Wayside Youth & Family Support Network is hiring for dynamic Youth & Family Support Workers. We provide a supportive culture that is team-focused and places value on healthy work dynamics. This role involves connecting with youth in the field of behavioral health.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, or related field
- At least 1 year of direct experience working with children, young adults, and/or families.
- Valid driver's license
- Access to a reliable vehicle

Responsibilities
- Provide culturally informed therapeutic interventions to children, young adults, and their families, that promote skill building in the life domains of: social functioning, symptom management, coping skills and activities of daily living.
- Collaborate with all members of the team to ensure continuity in treatment, services, and messages delivered.
- Provide both "soft" services (mentoring, counseling, skill-building) with identified clients as well as "hard" services including transportation, referrals, accessing concrete services such as furniture, food, etc.
- Serve as an advocate and attend meetings with the family and as requested by the youth and/or family.

- Sign-on bonus (half paid after 6 months of employment and half paid after 1 year of employment/pro-rated for part-time).
