Life Without Barriers is seeking a Youth Advocate to join their Staying on Track program. This program is part of the Queensland Government’s Making Queensland Safe plan and supports young people aged 10–17 who are leaving detention to successfully return to their families and communities. The program focuses on reducing re-offending and building positive pathways through education, training, employment, cultural and community connections. As a Youth Advocate, you will provide mentoring, coaching, and outreach to young people and their families, develop and implement Individual Support Plans, attend key appointments, advocate for clients, support positive choices, help reduce offending, and build independence and resilience.
