Requirements
- Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) with Yoga Alliance (required)
- Knowledge of trauma informed care principles (required)
- At least 200 hours of yoga teacher training (required)
- Experience teaching yoga to adolescents and adults (required)
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred)
- Experience teaching yoga in a mental healthcare setting (preferred)
Responsibilities
- Plans and facilitates yoga group lessons to support patients in a mental healthcare setting
- Teaches yoga aligned with Health At Every Size (HAES) principles
- Interacts with patients in a trauma-informed manner
- Manages patient sign in sheet for each group
- Reports any concerns to clinical leadership
