About The Position

Sol Seek Yoga is seeking a passionate and experienced Yoga Instructor to teach dynamic and creative vinyasa flow classes. The ideal candidate will be committed to excellence, a builder of community, and dedicated to professional development. This role involves not only teaching inspiring classes but also contributing to the studio's supportive culture and supporting team goals. We are looking for individuals who can honor traditional yoga while incorporating modern sensibilities to keep classes engaging and fresh. Requirements

  • Minimum of 2-3 years of teaching experience preferred; less experience considered with a teaching demo or strong online presence.
  • Reliable, professional, and motivated to contribute to a high-functioning studio team.
  • Kind, warm, and collaborative personality that enhances the studio’s welcoming environment.
  • Strong expertise in teaching vinyasa flow.
  • Ability to engage and inspire students with creativity and a unique teaching style.
  • Ability to teach additional modalities such as Yin Yoga, Restorative Yoga, Prenatal Yoga, or Sculpt is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

  • Deliver dynamic and creative vinyasa flow classes with professionalism, warmth, and enthusiasm.
  • Arrive at least 20 minutes early to set the space, greet students, and prepare for class.
  • Stay 20 minutes after to connect with students and assist with cleaning.
  • Actively contribute to the studio’s community culture by engaging with students and fellow teachers, supporting team goals, and being willing to sub classes when needed.
  • Curate thoughtful, creative sequences that honor traditional yoga while incorporating modern sensibilities.
  • Show up prepared, go above and beyond for students, and continually refine teaching as a craft.
  • Value relationships with students and the team, and contribute positively to the studio's culture.
  • Commit to growing as an instructor and staying current with trends, workshops, and ongoing education in the yoga world.
  • Be dependable and someone the team and students can count on.

  • Competitive pay based on experience and performance: Base rate: $50-$65 per class starting and increases after you are teaching a regular class.
