About The Position

The Yoga Boutique Leader is a charismatic leader who encourages people to try yoga and recruits, coaches, and retains talented teachers. The role focuses on creating experiences that motivate members and LifePower Yoga teachers to practice and teach at Life Time. The leader supports the member experience by teaching at least four signature yoga classes per week, delivering yoga 1:1 sessions and workshops, and supporting Yoga Teacher Training. This includes facilitating 40–90 hours of the program, supporting other faculty, and providing a suitable venue and marketing support for successful training.

Requirements

200-hour Yoga Certification.
Two years of management or leadership experience.
Certification in all LifePower Yoga Signature Classes.
CPR Certification.
Payroll skills.
Schedule optimization skills.

Nice To Haves

Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Word and Microsoft Excel.
Social media experience or skills.

Responsibilities

Scout talent, interview and train new teachers, and assist with certification, procedures, policies, programs, and services.
Provide feedback, tools, and follow-up to help teachers improve their skills.
Optimize the effectiveness of cross-functional teams.
Identify and reinforce shared goals that build commitment and teamwork across functions and divisions.
Develop positive relationships with members and teachers and build communities.
Performance-manage teachers through timely discussions about development opportunities and strengths.
Optimize schedule operations while supporting business goals and the member experience.
Communicate plans and activities in ways that support team-member involvement.
Manage and deliver yoga programming, including the stated minimums for yoga 1:1 sessions and workshops.
Manage a budget and meet participation expectations.
Meet participation and class-growth targets using tools such as schedule optimization, talent scouting, and performance reports.
Teach at least four classes per week.
Support Yoga Teacher Training by facilitating 40–90 hours, supporting other faculty, and helping provide the venue and marketing support.
