About The Position

Ledcor Road Maintenance is offering exciting opportunities working on the Sierra Yoyo Desan highway in Fort Nelson, BC. We are seeking enthusiastic, team-oriented individuals to help keep the highway safe. You will be responsible for winter and seasonal maintenance of the SYD highways using various heavy equipment.

Requirements

• Successful completion pre-employment drug and alcohol testing
• Ability to perform physically demanding tasks including lifting up to 50 lbs. and working outside in all weather conditions
• Valid Class 1 or 3 driver’s license with air endorsement
• Clear 3-year driver’s abstract

Nice To Haves

• Previous experience operating a snowplow truck and/or wheel loader is a strong asset

Responsibilities

• Operate snowplow trucks, wheel loaders, and other heavy equipment as required
• Perform highway maintenance tasks year-round, including assisting with labourer duties (crack sealing, pothole repair, bridge and signage cleaning, hazard remediation, etc.)
• Work outside in all weather conditions
