About The Position
The Yardman helps in the building materials yard by loading and unloading trucks, building loads, and putting away stock. The position includes occasional driving and deliveries to customers’ jobsites using Non-CDL box trucks. Heavy lifting is required. The role is with Riverhead Building Supply, a building supplies company employing more than 800 people across Long Island, Connecticut, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts. Requirements
- Heavy lifting is required.
- A Non-CDL DOT Medical Examiner’s Certificate is required.
- Forklift operation is required.
Nice To Haves
- A CDL Class B license is a plus.
- An ELDT Driver Training certificate is required if the driver’s license was obtained after February 7, 2022.
