Perform custom service related activities: Loading customer vehicles, restocking inventory, verify customer is receiving correct product and quantity. Maintain good housekeeping in yard, warehouse, and vehicles. This role involves performing daily inspections on forklifts and vehicles as required by OSHA and the Department of Transportation, operating them safely and efficiently. The position also includes customer service duties such as waiting on customers, stocking merchandise, and maintaining a clean yard by picking up trash, bands, and lumber covers. Additionally, the role requires storing materials in their proper location, loading vehicles with specified materials and quantities, and notifying sales personnel of any inventory shortages. When assigned to the gate, the individual will check all incoming and outgoing vehicles. As a Non-CDL Driver, the responsibilities include completing driver inspection reports, maintaining security for merchandise, keeping the vehicle clean, accurately assembling and loading merchandise for delivery, and converting orders to sales. The driver will also collect money on COD orders, obtain authorization for COD deliveries, and ensure quantities and products match the delivery order.
