About The Position
The Yard Worker is responsible for supporting manufacturing and shipping operations through pool outfitting assistance, loading preparation, material handling, inventory movement, facility upkeep, and yard maintenance activities.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Manufacturing, warehouse, shipping, construction, or material handling experience preferred.
- Forklift certification or ability to obtain certification.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to work overtime as needed.
Responsibilities
- Assist with outfitting activities including installation of fittings, drains, lights, plumbing components, tile, inlays, and accessories.
- Prepare pools for shipment and assist with loading operations.
- Move raw materials, finished goods, molds, and supplies throughout facility and yard
- Maintain outdoor storage areas, shipping lanes, and staging locations.
- Perform yard maintenance including debris removal, housekeeping, snow removal, sweeping, and grounds upkeep.
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment as certified.
- Conduct product and shipment inspections.
- Follow safety, quality, and PPE requirements.
