About The Position
The Yard Worker performs all assigned duties in the yard to assist with quality customer service. This role involves loading and preparing customer orders, operating a forklift, organizing inventory, and adhering to company policies. The position also includes snow removal during winter months and reporting customer complaints or inventory needs to management.

- Prior lumber yard experience helpful.
- Prior building materials experience helpful.
Responsibilities
- Load company vehicles in accordance with delivery invoices to include lifting and carrying merchandise, lumber and building materials.
- Prepare customer orders to include retrieving merchandise and materials from storage areas in accordance with customer invoices.
- Operate fork lift to load, unload and stock merchandise as needed.
- Put away product and keep lumber piles neat and organized.
- Adhere to all approved company policies and procedures.
- Report customer complaints to Manager or Officers.
- Inventory goods and notify Manager of shortages and needed goods to be ordered.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Removal & Shoveling of Snow from material piles and yard during Winter Months
