Perform work outdoors in the yard; draining fluids and removing parts from vehicles in preparation for setting the vehicles in the yard. This role involves working primarily outdoors, removing vehicle parts from salvage cars. Parts can include, but are not limited to, quarter panels, doors, lids, hoods, axles, and suspension pieces. The job also includes setting vehicles in the yard as assigned, accurately and timely recording information on vehicles set, and working with a Loader Operator to stage or pull vehicles properly. Responsibilities also include walking the yard to place debris in cars being removed and dismantling tires. A key aspect is maintaining a safe and clean work environment, ensuring compliance with all EPA and OSHA regulations, and wearing required PPE. The role also involves adhering to company policies and procedures, initiating and supporting continuous improvement of the quality system, and assuming other duties as assigned.
