About The Position

REIC Rentals is hiring a Yard/Warehouse Technician in South Plainfield, NJ. We are looking for someone hardworking, detail oriented, and is passionate about safety, quality and customer service. REIC Rentals is a fast-growing, elite equipment rental company with 55+ locations across North America. We operate under several brand names including Midway Rental, Pro Rentals and Sales, Excavator Rental Service, Black Mountain Rental, and Aim High Equipment Rentals.

Requirements

• A valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and reliable transportation
• Ability to pass forklift, AWP, and propane training tests
• A strong focus on safety
• Ability to take instruction and understand goals and processes
• Ability to work fluctuating schedules, including some Saturdays
• Ability to complete other duties as assigned
• Ability to comprehend job-related duties in both verbal and written formats
• Comfortable working with limited supervision at times
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
• Ability to walk, bend, lift, push, pull, and reach throughout the shift
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds multiple times per shift

Responsibilities

• Meticulously washing and detailing rental equipment before delivery
• Inspecting small equipment for quality
• Pick, pack, and stage materials for service technicians and installation crews
• Keeping inventory
• Managing the hookup and receiving of trailers or smaller rented items
• Enhancing the overall visual appeal of the yard/warehouse
• Prepping the yard for opening and closing of business
• Loading and unloading equipment and communicating rental details with the Rental Coordinator
• Washing and making any necessary repairs to returned equipment to ensure it is rent-ready
• Assisting with the appearance, organization, and arrangement of equipment in the yard
