About The Position
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Yard & Warehouse Associate to join our team. This full-time position supports warehouse operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and organized handling of materials. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and experience with forklift operation.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Previous warehouse, yard, or material handling experience preferred.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- DOT Medical Card required.
- Forklift experience (or willingness to be trained).
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
Responsibilities
- Receive, check in, and stage products for installers and subcontractors.
- Report product or equipment damage and coordinate with purchasing as needed.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure warehouse cleanliness.
- Operate forklifts safely and maintain inspection logs in compliance with Powered Industrial Truck guidelines.
- Transfer equipment and materials between facilities as requested.
- Organize and maintain pallet storage areas.
- Report facility or equipment issues to the Operations Manager.
- Assist with the needs of the Putnam facility and operations, including supporting special projects as required.
