About The Position

This position will ensure the Wheelabrator facility, where Page GTC is a sub-contractor, operates efficiently at all times during their shift. The main duties will include operating roll-off trucks and tractor trailers, moving roll-off containers, moving trailers on site, performing light maintenance, and cleaning the ash bay. The role is responsible for preparing trailers, including laying plastic lining and dumping trailers, for a facility that operates 24/7.

Requirements

Ability to operate heavy equipment and hydraulics.
Ability to work a 12-hour shift.
Previous experience operating heavy equipment and hydraulics.
Must have previous experience operating heavy equipment.
High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred

Must be able to lift/move up to 50-75lbs.
Stand, sit for extended periods of time, walk short distances.
Vision abilities: close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust and focus.
Ability to stay alert & focused at all times.
Be able to meet the physical demands of the job tasks (including getting in and out of trailers, lifting tarps to high levels, cleaning tarps off, and having full range use of upper body)
Ability to stay focused in a high stress environment.
Must be able to read, write, talk, and hear.
Maintain the confidentiality of all company and customer information and must not discuss such matters outside of Page GTC.
Tact and discretion must be used in all dealings with all customers and potential customers to maintain a positive image of Page GTC.
