Requirements
- At least 3 years of relevant experience operating a tractor trailer or spotter truck.
- Good physical stamina and manual dexterity.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Solution-oriented problem solver.
Responsibilities
- Operate shunt truck to move trailers within the yard.
- Communicate with shipping personnel to ensure efficient movement of trailers.
- Report any issues or damages to trailers.
- Complete routine service on trucks, which may include checking fluids, fuel, and air.
- Report all maintenance issues and malfunctions.
- Assist with loading or unloading of products or materials, using specialized equipment when warranted.
- Unload empty pallets and return all equipment to designated area.
- Maintain and contribute to a safe and clean work environment.
- Follow safety regulations.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
