DoD SkillBridge: Yard Technician

REIC Rentals is hiring a Yard Technician. We are looking for someone experienced in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues and passionate about safety, quality and customer service. Requirements
- Active-duty U.S. Military Members who qualify for the DoD SkillBridge Program
- A valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and reliable transportation
- Ability to pass forklift, AWP, and propane training tests
- A strong focus on safety
- Ability to take instruction and understand goals and processes
- Ability to work fluctuating schedules, including some Saturdays
- Ability to complete other duties as assigned
- Ability to comprehend job-related duties in both verbal and written formats
- Comfortable working with limited supervision at times
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to walk, bend, lift, push, pull, and reach throughout the shift
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds multiple times per shift

- Experience with working outside in all weather conditions

- Experience with loading and washing equipment
- Experience in troubleshooting mechanical and electrical issues
Responsibilities
- Meticulously washing and detailing rental equipment before delivery
- Inspecting small equipment for quality
- Managing the hookup and receiving of trailers or smaller rented items
- Enhancing the overall visual appeal of the yard
- Prepping the yard for opening and closing of business
- Loading and unloading equipment and communicating rental details with the Rental Coordinator
- Washing and making any necessary repairs to returned equipment to ensure it is rent-ready
- Assisting with the appearance, organization, and arrangement of equipment in the yard
